Hi, I’m Mike Slone.
I’ve been working in the digital design space for 20+ years and have a passion for user experience design and creating delightful digital products.
I’ve been an advocate for the Customer since the early 2000’s, and have learned from working with leading “Customer centric” companies including Southwest Airlines, Patagonia, and Vail Resorts.
Leading and collaborating with teams that design and build products to enhance and simplify the Customer experience is my passion. I love hiring people that are smarter than me, creating an environment of constant learning, and celebrating small victories with the team- early and often.
I’ve worked in various capacities as a Chief Experience Officer, VP of Product, Experience designer, photographer, creative director, and Interactive marketing director after originally studying Architecture and Environmental Design at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Travel Is Life
When I am not obsessing over digital products or practicing my French, I am traveling the world in search of the hippest boutique hotels, ridiculously good restaurants, and creative cocktails.
My favorite foods are BBQ in Driftwood, lobster rolls in Kennebunk, wild boar pasta in Limone, schnitzel in the Dolomites, Monkfish in Reykjavik, pumpkin steak in Tel Aviv, and Oshi Sushi in Vancouver.
Growing up in Texas, I developed a passion for Tex-Mex and BBQ, so I’m obsessed with finding the best tacos and margaritas throughout the world.
My travels have taken me to 40+ countries and I’ve lived part-time in the Cote d’Azur (south of France) for almost ten years. I’m currently living in Kennebunk, Maine, USA remodeling a beach house with my wife and enjoy sharing our place via AirBnB.
